Machinery and factory building\u00a0are two essential pillars\u00a0of Germany\u2019s export economy.<\/p>\n

Without the commissioning approval report,\u00a0no payment can be charged on the letter of credit. In addition, the warranty period begins from the approval.<\/p>\n

In the worst case, the customer can claim damages for financial losses if the commissioned system cannot be put into operation\u00a0on\u00a0schedule. In such cases,\u00a0a well-worded force majeure clause that explicitly lists pandemics can help.<\/p>\n
